The radical transformations taking place within the system of university education through the integration of classroom-based learning with scientific and applied research activities, dictate the need for such a laboratory, which also emerges as an imperative in the activity of the Department.
THE LABORATORY OF EUROPEAN STUDIES, APPLIED SOCIOLOGY AND REGIONAL POLICIES is established as a research and teaching entity within Alecu Russo Balti State University, operating alongside the Department of Socio-Human Sciences. This document sets out the objectives and competences of the Laboratory, its structure, technical and material support, sources of funding, as well as the organization and management of research activities carried out within it.
The main areas of activity of the Laboratory focus on conducting scientific research in the fields of European studies, sociology, and regional public policies, developing research-implementation methodologies, strengthening the scientific potential of Alecu Russo Balti State University, promoting and supporting the scientific integration of the Republic of Moldova at the European and international levels, carrying out interdisciplinary scientific and teaching activities within the University’s master’s degree programmes.
