The mission of the Quality Council consists of the conceptual development and monitoring of the implementation of the quality management system at Alecu Russo Balti State University, as well as ensuring its continuous adaptation to national and European higher education requirements in line with the demands of social life.
The Quality Council is an advisory body of the USARB Senate in the field of quality and has the following competences and responsibilities:
- Developing and promoting action policies for improving quality at USARB;
- Cooperating with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Professional Education to enhance the quality of education and research at USARB;
- Establishing quality assurance priorities;
- Developing procedures for the Quality Management System, the specific documentation for quality assurance, and coordinating their implementation;
- Drafting proposals for improving the quality of educational and scientific research services;
- Approving performance indicators for internal evaluations;
- Drafting proposals for improving study programmes and the processes carried out at USARB.
