The mission of the Quality Management Department is to create a Quality Management System (QMS) based on a policy framework, an organizational structure and procedures that ensure control, evaluation/auditing and continuous improvement of the quality of all activities within Alecu Russo Balti State University.
The Quality Management Department is a coordinating and executive structure that supports the Commission for Education, Evaluation and Quality Assurance in implementing quality management at USARB through planning actions, organizing working teams for drafting documents, training staff in quality assurance and managing QMS documentation.
The main directions of activity of the Quality Management Department are:
- Designing and implementing a Quality Management System that leads to the continuous improvement of the university’s didactic process;
- Planning and coordinating periodic evaluation activities within the university through internal audits;
- Providing specialized consultancy;
- Organizing training programs and other dissemination activities in quality management in order to develop a quality culture within the university;
- Developing procedures for the evaluation of teaching staff;
- Developing procedures for student evaluation of university activities (especially didactic activities);
- Designing and implementing procedures for evaluating scientific research activities within the university (in cooperation with the Department for Research and International Relations);
- Developing procedures for the evaluation of university and postgraduate study programs through internal audits.
