Research activity at Alecu Russo Balti State University is carried out by a cohesive academic body composed of 11 habilitated doctors, 90 doctors of sciences holding positions as didactic staff and researchers and 43 doctoral students.
Scientific research has developed within the following priority fields: Physical and Technical Sciences; Philological Sciences; Educational Sciences; Legal and Social Sciences; Economic Sciences; Natural Sciences
Members of the University participate in the evaluation of habilitated doctor and doctor of science theses as members of expert committees of the National Council for Accreditation and Attestation, as members of specialized scientific seminars in other institutions and as members of specialized councils for the public defense of doctoral theses. Extensive scientific activity is carried out with the support and collaboration with the University Scientific Library.
