DATABASE OF BESSARABIAN AND ROMANIAN LITERARY WORKS, TRANSLATED INTO FOREIGN LANGUAGES BY TRANSLATORS FROM ABROAD

The database was created in 2024, as part of the implementation, in the "Mircea Ioniţă" Laboratory 
of Comparative and Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, of the research project 050101 
"Research on the Reception by Translation of Bessarabian and Romanian Fiction Literatures in the 
European Countries".  Currently, the database includes over 1702 titles translated from Bessarabian 
and Romanian writers into over 25 languages of the world: English, German, Swedish, Danish, 
Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, 
Polish, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Serbian, Neo-Greek, Hungarian, Armenian, Arabic, Japanese and 
Chinese.
