Abstract: |
The name of the author Sylviane Agacinski is associated with the theoretical articulation of the French law on political parity, promulgated in 1999. In this article, we aimed to analyze the main ideas discussed in her book "Gender Politics", launched in 1998 and re-edited in 2001. The argued philosophical post-feminism that Sylviane Agacinski promotes, tends to be differentiated from the paradoxically androcentric reflections of Simone de Beauvoir, arriving at a philosophy of mixedness in which the relationship between the 2 genders is neither presented as a hierarchy nor as neutralization, but as a productive complementarity. |
