Title:

POLITIQUE LINGUISTIQUE EDUCATIVE DU FRANCAIS EN DIPLOMATIE AU SEIN DE L’UNION EUROPEENNE

Language of Publication:

French

Title in English:

French Educational Language Policy in Diplomacy within the European Union

Abstract:

The scope of the educational systems is marked by an innovative and revolutionary evolution. This conception is realized in different training programs referring to the institutional and academic level. It goes without saying that the policies accompany the appropriate structures according to the orientations chosen, or in the process of declining the contents to be administered to different actors, according to needs or visions. We agree to explore educational policies in terms of disciplinary and even formative contents. Institutions such as the European Union, for example, do not derogate from the added value of linguistic educational policies within its entities from a linguistic point of view. It is agreed that this institution would be the bastion of representativities linked to the languages that determine the existence of the peoples (actors) and the management of the communities within Europe. The European Union is also committed to maintaining a balance between the actors who are the representatives of the different peoples through a linguistic autonomy, which gives them an educational capacity linked to the exercise of the function within the EU. This world of work is that of international relations, diplomacy, where languages contribute to the maintenance of relations and constitute a working tool. Without any hierarchy, French is standardized, specified and mutated in particular contexts, namely academic, institutional and diplomatic. The strength of a language also lies in the multi-functional transposition that it can make use of. French within this organization ensures the accommodation of the members in a differential harmony but in coexistence with the other working languages.
